Blog keyword research that attracts buyers...
My mom started a blog not long ago...
The thing is, my Mom doesn't know much about computers.
One time, while traveling, I had to get on RescueMe and remote connect to her laptop just to show her how to fix her WordPress post.
All her photos were sideways.
"Uhh, Mom, what happened?"
So I showed her how to rotate the images.
Then she asked me what I thought about her content.
"Well Mom, it's pretty good."
(Then I paused for a few seconds...)
"But, if you want to make money with this, you need to pick some topics your audience is interested in."
Her reply: "Well, how do you know what they want?"
"Find questions your readers are asking everyday."
Because answering questions is still the easiest way to write content that gets targeted traffic and converts.
For example, the idea for that content marketing post, where you saw how to go from $0 to $8,450 a month, actually came from questions people ask.
Here's the exact system:
Step 1: Open QuestionSpy
Step 2: Put in your keyword
Step 3: Click on Topics
Step 4: Look for popular groups
That's literally it.
I got back 565+ questions that people ask everyday about "content marketing".
And you know what's great about these questions?
They reveal search intent better than generic keywords.
For example...
Tell me something about the person who searches for "basketball shoes".
Stuck?
Me too.
The only thing we really know about them is they have some interest in basketball shoes.
But that's it...
Everything else would just be a guess.
Now, tell me something about the person who searches for "where to buy men's nike lebron basketball shoes"...
(Yes, that's a real keyword.)
Let's see...
1. They want Nike® brand
2. They want Men's shoes
3. They like Lebron James
4. They want store names
5. They're ready to buy
Do you see how much easier it is to write great content for these buyers?
You're not going to "strain your brain" trying to figure out what they want or what to write about.
You already know exactly what they want.
And the best part...
This works for long or short articles, emails, landing pages, and even books.
Here's another tip...
To create longer content that gets lots of traffic, just answer multiple questions in one post.
For example, if you were writing about Google Analytics and social media.
Put in the topics "Google Analytics" and "social media" separately into QuestionSpy.
You'll get back a list of hundreds (even thousands) of popular questions people ask everyday about these two topics.
Then just arrange the most popular questions together and answer them in a post.
Once you publish your content, you'll get targeted traffic from all the people searching for answers to this group of questions.
And that is how you create content that converts...
It's really that simple...
