The truth about zero volume keywords...
I'm not sure if you've seen this screenshot before, but take a look at this:

Many of you have known or suspected that zero volume keywords actually were a great source of buyers.
I took a quick look in Google Search Console today...

On the left, is the search volume that tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, etc. predict using Google estimates.
On the right, is the actual number of searches these four "low volume" keywords had in 12 months.
Quite a difference...
So, if you're not going after highly relevant, "low volume keywords", you could be missing out.
And one more thing...
Because almost everyone goes after the "BIG" ones, these keywords often have very little competition.
You can often rank for dozens of them with a single page...
Better yet...
You don't even have to guess which ones are really worth your time...
Using the simple "reverse rank" method, you can test these keywords before you ever publish your real page.
And, here's the best part.
Once your placeholder page gets indexed, you can see the real search volume data in Google Search Console for these keywords.
In other words, you can hand pick the best of these keywords, based on real search volume data, and target them specifically.
It's quick and easy...
