Do I need to have a Google Ads Account?

Yes, you will need to setup a free Google Ads account in order to setup your first YouTube Ad campaign and also to follow along with the video series steps. You do not have to pay for a Google Ads account, and you can setup a campaign and immediately pause the campaign until you are ready to start advertising.


Do I have to have a lot of money to make this work?

No, you do not need to have a large amount of money to start advertising. In the video training, you'll learn how to take $5 and scale it up from there. You should never set a budget amount higher than you are able to pay.


Why is my YouTube Ad still pending?

It has been our experience through various tests, that accounts with only a single campaign waiting to be reviewed take about 3-5 business days before they are reviewed. It is possible to get a faster ad review if you create more than one identical campaign at a time. You can pause the second campaign after it has been approved to run. Alternatively, you can wait for the single campaign to be reviewed in about 3-5 business days. If your campaign is still pending after a full business week, you should send an email to Google Ad support to have it queued again for review.


Why am I not getting any traffic from my video?

The very first thing to check is that the Call to Action overlay link is correct and working, and your description link as well. If those are working correctly, then spend some time on the Overt Benefit, Real Reason to Believe, and Dramatic Difference of both the video intro and the call to action in your video. These are the two most important parts of any video ad. If you get these three elements right, you should be getting clicks from your video views, assuming there is not an issue with your managed placement targeting selections.
