"Right Bait, Right Critter..."
"If you put a 500-pound block of salt in your backyard, you will attract deer, not rats. If you put a 500-pound block of cheese out there -- rats, not deer.
Sadly, most businesspeople do not think strategically about the client/customer they want. They busy themselves attracting or chasing any customer they can get."

Dan goes on to say...
"A customer who comes through one of my books is substantially more valuable than those who arrive through any other means."
Now, you don't have to write a book in order to benefit from Dan's advice...
One way to capitalize on this little gem is to head over to Amazon.
Search for books that your best customers might have on their bookshelf right now.
Match the sophistication level of the ideal buyers you want to reach.
For example, both of these books talk about Salesforce, but they target very different readers:
Once you select your book based on the type of customer you want to reach, look at the reviews.
Readers leave all kinds of clues that will help you brainstorm "buyer keywords".
For example, look at this one:
Here are some buyer keywords to target this reader:
salesforce admin role description salesforce admin job responsibilities salesforce admin permission set salesforce admin cert study guide salesforce admin cert maintenance salesforce admin job openings salesforce admin job placement
This method works well because it shifts your thinking from "keywords" to "customers".
Once you find these keywords, use the "Reverse Rank" method to prove which keywords will be easy to rank.
Here's how this works...
On Wednesday, I ran placeholder tests on 369 new customer keywords.
A total of 58 keywords ranked immediately, so I know they'll be very easy for this particular site.
Most of these keywords will be targeted with a single page of content, and I know exactly what to focus on.
And the best part...
These keywords have been searched 1,164 times in the last 3 days.
That means these 58 keywords will get approximately 11,000 searches per month, and will result in new buyer traffic.
See how that works?
Combine Dan's advice on targeting book buyers with this method of finding the easiest keywords to rank.
That's a winning combo...
