It works, because it reveals when your audience is searching online the most.
And it only takes about 3 minutes.
Let's dive in...
Step 1: Go to Google Trends...
Step 2: Enter your "target audience keywords"...
Use words that your target audience uses.
Broad keywords are usually better...
(Tip: If you want a single graph, put a "+" between your keywords. If you want multiple graphs, click "+ Compare" to add more keywords.)
Step 3: Choose your region...
(Tip: Use the region where your highest lifetime value customers live.)
Step 4: Select a one week range...
Step 5: Choose your search type...
Choose Web Search to figure out the best time for an email broadcast or ad campaign.
Choose YouTube Search to figure out the best time to upload a YouTube video or run a video ad.
Step 6: Find the peaks...
As you can see in this example, the majority of our audience is searching for fishing videos on Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
Those are the best days to upload our fishing video (or run video ads).
You can also predict the best hours during the day using the Custom Time Range > Past Week feature.
If your product is seasonal, just repeat these steps throughout the year.
