ODi's Top 10 Best Affiliate Marketing Niches for 2026 -- Full Transcript
What This Video Covers and Why ODi Is Qualified to Teach It
In this video, I'm going to share with you my top 10 best affiliate marketing niches for 2026 and how to pick the right niche for you. Here's a quick overview of what we're going to go over. The first thing is going to be my best tips before you pick the wrong niche -- one of the number one mistakes that I see beginners make all the time. Next, I'm going to share with you my personal top 10 best affiliate marketing niches for 2026 list. And lastly, I'm going to close off with some closing thoughts on how to pick the best niche for you.
Because at the end of the day, it's not just about a profitable niche. It's about choosing the best niche for you that you can actually succeed and make money with.
Now, if you're new to the channel, a quick about me -- why am I qualified to teach you? I have over 10 years of affiliate marketing experience. I've earned over 7 figures in this industry. I have a YouTube channel with over 280,000 subscribers, one of the largest affiliate marketing YouTube channels on the planet. And I am the host of the Affiliate Marketing Millionaire Podcast, a top 50 entrepreneurship podcast in the US.
I also help coach people to build six-figure-plus affiliate marketing businesses. I just did an interview with one of my successful clients, Tyler, that is now on YouTube -- how he built an $8,000 per month affiliate marketing side hustle. Check that video out after this.
The Number One Mistake Beginners Make When Picking a Niche
All right, so before we dive into the list, I have to share some of my wisdom over these 10 years before you pick the wrong niche. This is one of the number one mistakes that I see beginners make all the time.
So the first thing I want to say is that there are many more than just the 10 profitable niches on this list. Just because it's not listed doesn't mean it can't work. This is my personal list. This is what I personally think is hot, trending, and the easiest path to 10K a month. It's what I personally would invest to build brands and businesses in these markets.
That said, I just shared with you the client story of Tyler, who is doing a niche that's not even on this list. And the last point here is that micro niches could be your secret to success. I'm going to share more about that at the end of this video.
Think Beyond Affiliate Revenue -- Ad Income and Multiple Streams Matter
My next tip is don't just think of affiliate marketing and only affiliate revenue. Think of ad revenue and additional potential income streams. So right here I'm showing you Amazon Associates earnings. And in the last month, what I have coming into my account is over $4,400. And this is actually just the earnings from the US -- I'm also making money from Canada, UK, Italy, Germany, Spain, Netherlands, Sweden, Poland, France, and a bunch of other countries. But you can see from the US, if you look at the history, we routinely earn over $4,000 per month.
But what's interesting is that this same brand earns over $6,000 a month just from ad revenue. And inside here, I'm actually showing you my Mediavine dashboard in the last month.
Quick heads up. If you're interested in the exact infrastructure that I use to run these 10K a month businesses and make it mostly passive income, spending zero on paid ads all while working less than 10 hours per week, I highly suggest you check out the free training. It's the first link in the video and podcast description below, where I will reveal my affiliate operating system. I'm going to break down all of these six income streams that are combining to over $16,000 a month -- super profitable.
And related to this video, if you watch the free training until the end, you will receive a free bonus of a list of 30-plus profitable niches, and it's actually broken down by average earnings. It's super in-depth. It's really helpful. So I suggest you sign up while the bonus is still available.
Why Chasing the Most Profitable Niche Is a Naive Strategy
Now, a couple more tips here. The most profitable niches are also the most competitive. So before you just rush into the number one, number two, number three niches -- which you'll see are going to be very profitable -- they're also going to be some of the most competitive niches, which means you as a newbie with level one skills is not going to even be able to make a dent. You're going to have a really hard time, especially if those niches are not part of your domain knowledge or expertise and you can't stand out.
So many niches can become profitable if you approach it and execute the right way. Unfortunately, one of the most naive questions I always get is, "Hey, just tell me the most profitable niche. I'll just go after that." To me that is a very naive understanding of how this business works and how difficult it actually is to gain traction. But we'll talk more about that at the end of this video.
What YMYL Means and Why It Matters for Your Niche Choice
The other concept I want to bring to your attention is called your money or your life -- YMYL. Basically, if any niche involves your money like personal finance, or your life like medical, these niches are scrutinized a little bit more on Google Search. So you're going to have to make sure that you really approach these from a very professional standpoint.
Now, that doesn't mean that you have to actually be certified or be an MD, but you definitely cannot send any signals that your website or your YouTube are spammy or low quality -- which typically a lot of people who pursue affiliate marketing tend to do.
The Japanese Concept of Ikigai Applied to Niche Selection
Now, quickly I want to answer the question about passion versus profit with a concept from Japanese culture. I believe it's called ikigai. And I actually have a visual here to explain what ikigai means. Basically, we have four circles. And at the very center overlapping of these four circles is ikigai.
So these factors include what you love, what the world needs, what you can be paid for, and what you are good at. Those are the four factors. If you can find something in the middle of those things, that's ikigai. And that's a way to get fulfillment from something that you know maybe you're passionate about, but at the end of the day it still needs to be able to pay the bills.
So I actually find this to be one of the best pieces of advice for choosing a niche that's right for you, because everybody's different. Everybody has different backgrounds, expertise, and gifts. But we'll talk more about that at the end of this video.
A Quick Look at ODi's Website for Niche and Affiliate Program Research
Now, real quick, I actually want to show you something on my website. Because if you want to do more research and you want to get a preview of what brands are available in the different niches and the different affiliate networks, you can go to my website, odiproductions.com, and you hit this dropdown for all affiliate marketing posts. You scroll down and you can actually see everything categorized by best affiliate programs by category -- best fitness affiliate programs, best health and wellness affiliate programs, best weight loss affiliate programs, best beauty, etc.
But also what I think is cool is you can get a preview of these affiliate networks like ShareASale. And some of these may be a little bit dated, I'll be honest, but that said most of these should still be pretty accurate and active. And you can see here for Commission Junction -- aka CJ -- they have brands like Reebok, Whoop, FreshBooks, Namecheap, Inkfile, etc.
Niche 10: Travel
All right, so without further ado, let's jump into number 10. So at number 10, we have travel. Now, this list is going to be full of competitive bangers, because travel at number 10 -- which is a trillion-dollar industry, we all know how big travel is -- honestly barely cracked the top 10 for me.
Some of the companies that you can promote here that have affiliate programs are Expedia, Booking.com, TripAdvisor, Priceline, Vrbo, airlines, and hotel rewards. Then you have to think outside of the box. Instead of just thinking about hotels and travel, think about personal finance combined with travel, like travel credit cards.
In terms of physical products, there's so much travel gear like luggage and backpacks for Amazon Associates and also directly on those brands' websites. I mean, thinking about travel backpacks -- some of these things are $300 plus -- and people really dedicate time to research a $200 to $300 backpack that they're going to use to travel the world. It's really important that they invest in the best gear. So you bet there's going to be a ton of affiliate opportunities there.
And in addition to hotels and airlines, there's also rental cars like Hertz, physical travel gear, and also things like travel insurance. Again, some of that personal finance, some of that hybrid that you can apply to any of these niches.
Niche 9: Kitchen Appliances and Food
All right, so moving on to number nine: kitchen appliances and food. So one thing I learned in the past year as I've been exploring the premium ad networks like Mediavine -- and currently earning, like I showed you, over $6,000 a month just from ads -- one thing that surprised me was that I believe 80% or so of the blogs and websites on Mediavine are food blogs. And we're just talking about your classic food recipes.
And honestly, when you think about it, people by the millions are searching up these recipes. They're spending a lot of time on page. So it's very advertiser-friendly, and the people who are likely to visit these websites also tend to have a good amount of money. Maybe they're stay-at-home moms, and they're also based in the US. The US is the number one tier-one country when it comes to ad revenue and RPMs, and they also do a lot of online shopping.
So at number one here we have Amazon Associates. And some of the product categories to think about are air fryers, blenders, other appliances, non-toxic pots and pans -- that's trending upwards right now, I actually own a few myself. Professional chef gear like stainless steel pans, which can easily cost over $100. We have sous vide devices -- I actually just bought a sous vide, that's a whole world in and of itself. There's kitchen accessories like utensils and knives, etc. And there's other appliances like the Ninja Creami -- that's a one-off like ice cream maker -- and other things like that that are more novelty.
And again, food recipes. This is a way that people can spend like 2 hours just staying on that same website while the ads are refreshing. And you're making money every time those ads refresh and they see more ads. They stay longer on the page, you're going to make more money.
Niche 8: Consumer Electronics and Tech
Getting back into the content -- at number eight, we have consumer electronics and tech. This is one that's close to my heart and one that I personally earn five figures a month from. And all of the different categories here, which each of these could basically support its own website.
So we have smartphones number one. Smartphones are one of the most competitive and they're also becoming more expensive at $1,000 or so per item. And although iPhone is the most popular, there is so much different competition, like a brand called Nothing, there's Samsung, there's Google. And people need to do their research here.
Next is laptops, TVs, headphones, earbuds, monitors like TV monitors or computer monitors, computer accessories, Bluetooth speakers, gaming PCs, computer parts. I believe that Newegg has an affiliate program, and there's just a ton of computer parts that you could also sell via Amazon Associates. You know, you could get graphics cards, CPUs, processors, things like that.
Honestly, for consumer electronics to be number eight on this list -- again, it just tells you there are so many ways to make money, so many profitable niches out there.
Niche 7: Personal Finance and Fintech
Now, moving on to number seven, we have personal finance and fintech. So I want to throw out a quick disclaimer: this is a YMYL -- your money or your life -- niche. So you have to be very careful with this, because Google is going to be stricter when it comes to your content and who they're going to allow on the search engine.
At number one, we have credit cards. I mean, this is one of the most profitable, and honestly you make money from people even just sending in an application. Next, we have the company SoFi, that has a wide variety of products from banking to loans to investing. And honestly, just supply those categories to other companies. Anything that has to do with banking, loans, or investing -- it could be mortgages, it could be insurance -- those are affiliate opportunities as well for pretty much all of those companies.
We also have fintech like Chime. We have investing platforms like M1 Finance and Robinhood. There's Betterment. There's Wise Banking, Bankrate. There's Experian for credit checks. The list goes on and on. None of these lists are comprehensive. You can do some deep dive into any of these niches and find so many more brands, so many more companies.
Niche 6: Beauty, Skincare, Makeup, and Anti-Aging
Now, moving on to number six. I've been talking a little bit about this, and I actually made a prediction I believe in early 2024 when I said that in the next coming years, historically affiliate marketing based on the data is majority male, but there's so much opportunity for categories like beauty, skincare, makeup, anti-aging, and fashion, that I predicted that there would be a rise in female affiliate marketing and it would even out.
And to be honest, it just should, because there are so many products out there that people do their research on, and these products are so friendly to the social media platforms, to Google SEO, to YouTube.
Some of those include number one, Amazon Associates -- most of these products you're going to find on Amazon Associates to my knowledge -- but you also have Sephora, which is easily the top name when it comes to makeup. Anything anti-aging -- so anti-aging creams and serums, retinol, things like that. A lot of these can also be very high ticket and expensive. Not to mention on Amazon Associates, luxury beauty is a 10% commission, which is one of the highest commission rates on the website.
We also have gadgets like red light therapy masks. There's the concept of Korean beauty skincare -- K-beauty skincare. This is something I've heard about recently. It's popular, it's hot, it's trending. And at the end of the day, this is an evergreen niche because people are always going to want to look their best. Anti-aging is going to become more and more important.
Niche 5: Biohacking, Longevity, and Wellness
And that actually brings us to our next niche. So at number five, we have biohacking, longevity, wellness. This is one that's a little close to my heart because I personally am super interested in this stuff.
But anything with longevity supplements, health supplements, and vitamins in general -- those are becoming more and more popular and in the conversation. We have things like creatine, all the different types of protein powders that they have now. We have magnesium. I mean, there's so many here that I can't even list. I probably take like a dozen supplements myself every single day.
We have red light therapy, which I personally use a red light therapy device at home -- some of those can be very high ticket. We have the sauna. Sauna is something that I started doing at least four times a week. There's dry sauna, there's infrared saunas, there's cold plunge. And there's also health foods and unique ingredients that you can find on Amazon Associates. Certain brands that are just popular within the biohacking community.
And honestly, if you know anything about this niche, there's just so much to go into that it would take forever if I started to list off actually all the things that you could sell.
Niche 4: Weight Loss, Hair Loss, and Pharmaceuticals
Now, I want to move on to number four, which is weight loss, hair loss, and pharmaceuticals in general. So this is going to definitely be YMYL. This is going to be more about the more medical-grade -- not just vitamins here. We're talking about actual things that may require a prescription.
So just throwing out some brands and ideas: Ozempic and GLP-1, Hims and Hers for hair loss and weight loss and all sorts of different things. We have the company Ro, which is formerly Roman -- a company that specializes in male health.
See, that's a real painkiller. That's not a vitamin, where it's something like, let's say, vitamin D, which is a nice-to-have. This is something that is a real problem that causes insecurity, that genuinely people want to pay money to get rid of. And that concept of painkillers versus vitamins is very relevant to choosing an affiliate marketing niche, because at the end of the day, people are willing to pay -- they are desperate to get rid of a problem that's a genuine pain -- as opposed to just a nice-to-have for some of these niches and products.
And lastly, we have the female health side, which is going to be more hormonal health. This is another more trending topic in the conversation, in social media, that people are discussing and starting to take seriously and starting to understand its importance.
Niche 3: Make Money Online and Online Education
All right, so now we move on to the top three. I have to shout this one out because it's the one we're talking about right now, which is make money online and online education. So in general, this is a pretty broad niche. Just some of the buzzwords here would be passive income, business opportunities, e-commerce like Shopify, dropshipping, Amazon FBA, Amazon KDP like Kindle publishing, social media marketing agency, affiliate marketing of course, online learning like Skillshare, Coursera, Udemy.
Now, those are more general, where it's not just pure make money online. Now obviously with this space it is a little bit of YMYL. There's also a lot of scams out there. So it's definitely a little bit of a controversial niche, but at the end of the day, this niche actually pays really good money, so I have to include it in my top three.
Niche 2: Software
And number two, we have a niche that I personally have a lot of experience in. I've earned over seven figures in this niche, and this is software. So we start with something like VPNs. Think about when you watch YouTube -- how many times have you watched a YouTube video and the sponsor for the video was literally a VPN company? And there's so many different ones. It's because VPNs are highly profitable. In turn, they have a lot of marketing budget to spend on sponsorships and for affiliates. So if you make a sale for a VPN, it's not uncommon that you could be earning $100, $150 per sale.
Now, you can also apply those same commissions to something like web hosting and website builders -- another super profitable software category, where because of the customer value, they're able to actually spend a lot for you to acquire those customers and they'll pay you a good chunk per sale.
And in general, all of the marketing software tools -- this would be something like GoHighLevel, that's a tool that I actually use personally. We also have email marketing software. There's so many different ones and they are similar to the website builders and web hosting, where it's highly profitable and they'll pay you a good lump sum or fixed commission per sale. And some of them even have recurring commissions where you get lifetime 20% to 30% commissions for the lifetime of the customer that you refer.
Niche 1: Artificial Intelligence
All right, so we have done 10 through two on this list so far. And at number one, I have to give it to AI, who is just the belle of the ball right now. I mean, it is the number one hot topic buzzword. So with AI, there's all of these different AI softwares. And just to rattle off a few: we have ElevenLabs for voice cloning and AI voiceovers, which I actually personally use -- I think it's really great. We have Synthesia, which is for AI video creation. Copy AI is used for generating marketing materials. Murf AI, I think, is similar to ElevenLabs. We have Pictory, Fireflies AI, which is for meeting notes.
And this is just a very, very small list of the potential softwares and companies within AI that you could be promoting. But this is just the hottest topic in terms of the market. It's super hungry for it. It's researching so many different things, and it's also fairly new, to where you could still establish something and be relatively early, honestly, compared to some of these other more traditional niches that are very well-established.
How to Use Ikigai to Pick the Best Niche for You
All right, so that is my top 10 list. And again, this is a personal list where it's my bias of what I personally think is the quickest path to zero to 10K a month, and where I personally would put my energy and my resources to build brands and businesses using my affiliate operating system. And I actually am pursuing some of these niches as we speak.
So, how to pick the best niche for you? I bring back the ikigai diagram that we have here. When it comes to choosing a niche, if there's one thing I've learned from coaching so many people one-on-one, it's that choosing a niche is actually very personal and it's very difficult. It's not something where you just get a list and you just throw a dart and choose whichever one it hits.
Honestly, when it comes to the niche, again, it has to be something that is somewhere in the middle. It's not just passion or profit -- you can do something you're passionate about and it's just not profitable, the market's not there. Vice versa, you can choose literally the most profitable thing. Let's just take AI for example. But if you don't know anything about AI and you're not tech-savvy, you're going to have a bad time. You're not going to be able to actually gain the trust and the authority that you need to get sales.
Nobody buys from people or websites that they do not trust and they do not give authority or just give value at the end of the day. The number one first principle with affiliate businesses -- or any business really -- is: does it provide value? And I think a lot of people who are pursuing this business, they like to do the motions of what they think successful affiliate businesses look like, but they're not providing value. That's like the number one rule. And it's hard to provide value.
Let's take a better example of make money online. If I say make money online is one of the most profitable niches, but you've never made a single dollar online -- that's going to be a bad fit for you, because nobody's going to believe you. You have nothing to talk about. You have no personal experience to pull from and use as a story or an anecdote. And again, people do not buy from people that they do not trust.
So if you can find something that is at the core of what you love, what the world needs, what you can be paid for, and what you are good at -- I actually think this is great advice for choosing a niche.

I appreciated how he not only covered specific micro niches, like the retro gaming consoles niche, but also zoomed out far enough to see the broader markets to pick from in 2026. I also appreciate his caution with YMYL and Google compliance, and especially his emphasis on picking something good for you, and not just chasing what you think might be profitable. In the end, you need to stick with this long enough for it to work, and it always helps if you enjoy what you're doing.
